Private School Admissions

Getting into Regis, Dalton, Trinity or Xavier takes more than a test score: it's the exam, the essay, the interview, and the timing, all in the same fall as the SHSAT. We prepare students for all of it. Our weekly SHSAT class covers more than any private school exam asks, so students in it are ready for the ISEE, SSAT and TACHS too; one-on-one sessions take care of the essays, the interview practice and the schools' own exams.

Since 2020, 100% of our private school applicants have received an offer.

• Independent: Regis, Dalton, Trinity, Marymount (full scholarship), Hotchkiss

• Catholic: Xavier, Iona Prep, St. Francis Prep, St. John's Prep, Notre Dame, Dominican Academy

How it works

• Weekly class (the same class as our SHSAT students), in person, small group

• One-on-one sessions for the ISEE, SSAT, TACHS, the Regis exam, essays and interviews: $85 an hour, in person or over Zoom

• We work with your calendar: applications, test dates and interviews in the right order

• First class is free

The ISEE, SSAT and TACHS are administered by ERB, The Enrollment Management Association and the Catholic dioceses of New York and Brooklyn respectively, none of which is affiliated with Sanidas Tutoring.
